Designed for synthesis since 1992

Synthware® reads differently from a general labware catalogue. Alongside the flasks and condensers every lab needs, it goes unusually deep into the apparatus that synthetic and organometallic chemistry actually depends on — Schlenk tubes, vacuum manifolds, solvent stills, sublimators, microscale reaction vials.

Everything is drawn from high-quality European borosilicate 3.3 tubing and built to the standard taper and spherical joint series, so it interchanges with whatever is already on your bench. One material, one joint system, and parts bought years apart still fit together.

Why Synthware About the glass
Synthware Manifold M53, PTFE stopcocks, single
Synthware Schlenk tube S49, storage, vacuum valve, #15 O-ring joint
Synthware Distillation, receiver F94, 5-receivers with inner joints, Bredt (F948050B)

Inspected used glassware, at a fraction of new

We regularly acquire previously owned laboratory equipment from companies and individuals winding down or changing direction. Everything is brought in, inspected, and then either refurbished or stripped for usable parts.

It is an affordable route to good borosilicate glass — a 100 ml round bottom flask starts at €11.30, a Liebig condenser at €25. Stock is genuinely limited: when a piece is gone, it is gone.

What to expect. Cosmetic wear is normal. We inspect every piece visually and reject anything that does not look structurally sound, but we do not chemically analyse residues from previous use — second-hand glassware is neither sterile nor food-safe, and the origin of each item is stated on its product page.
